It is true to mention that YouTube Shorts has become the most popular social media platform with 30 Billion views each day. And, the number of views is increasing after every passing day. YouTube Short's quick rise started in 2019 and in Sept 2022, 30 million views were generated daily. Apart from these cardinal numbers, monthly users also began to grow. 1.5 billion views were recorded in 2002 but in 2023 2 billion views were reported by YouTube. So, to support content creators, YT introduced YT shorts in August 2021, and the idea was to pay all top-level creators against their valued content.
For this purpose, a $100 million fund was fixed, and a time-being strategy was developed. That is why YouTube Shorts launched in September 2022 and then the YT partner Program started in February 2023. As a result, YouTube short creators earn 45% of the entire ad revenue through advertisements before and after their video content. As compared to longer YT videos, 55% revenue of the ad is paid to content creators. However, partnered channels also provide membership choices with one-time donations and acceptance from viewers.
